After spending years writing songs and searching for a band to play them with, Manuel Melo and João Tenente had more than enough time to develop the songwriting skills which would culminate in the self-titled Janice EP, with Simão Brás Afonso on bass and Filipe Collaço on drums.
The record consists of 6 pop-rock songs, straight to the point and based on vocal harmonies sharpened by years of musical collaboration. “Janice” was released at last in March 2017 by Colado Music. The release was followed by a remarkable live debut at MUSICBOX Lisboa.
The rest of the year will be spent on their first national tour, with the garante of a new record to be released during next Fall.
