Moods range from the Hawaiian slack key guitar-inspired "While You Were Sleeping" to a waltz for a avian companion to the meditative "Boreal."

Originally released in 1996 "autumn…" showcased a brand new musical instrument: the MIDI dulcimer, along with the acoustic guitar. The MIDI dulcimer allowed Mark to improvise flowing musical lines and harmonies over an ever shifting musical ground.
