O.M.G on My Grind, Pt. 2

born Brandon Joseph, was raised in the Crenshaw District near Crenshaw & Slauson.
As an artist formulated from his surroundings, he is motivating others through his music and influencing the world through his circumstances.

As a youth G.I. Joe immolated the lifestyles of the low riders, fast money makers and learned how to be a man before he was one. How he maneuvered through the streets earned him the nickname G.I. Joe.
Adversity consumed him. While in jail writing was an outlet but after performing concerts in jail he saw how his music uplifted people. Loved ones, family and friends all made him promise he would pursue music.
G.I. Joe then realized the road he was on often lead to a dead end and made music his avenue to a positive lifestyle.

G.I. Joe brings the art of storytelling back to rap. His lyrics show kids growing up in situations like his or anyone in bad situations that there are a plethora of positive ways to live out your dreams and accomplish your goals.
