Michael John & The Bottom Line are back with their third release "From The Roots" Perfect title for this CD and to describe the band. This CD is original and they bring a much needed breath of fresh air into the blues scene. This six piece band is very tight and has a ton of energy. When you have a grooving machine for a rhythm section with Chuck Lee on Bass Guitar and Tom "T-Bone Broderick on Drums you can't help but to stomp your feet or get up and dance. Jeff Dellisanti is not only on Tenor Sax but also throwing it down on Baritone too. He also throws down a nice little surprise on track thirteen Skinny Dipping. Kirk Nelson on piano gives you the strong boogie woogie feel while also adding the Hammond B3 Organ to just fatten the whole thing up. Howard "Preacher" Ward has become one of the most well known and respected Guitar players in Southern California.
