So – the second album!

Funny – it feels more like another first album for me in a way. Not Just Black and White (2013) reflected that particular point in my career – I had just finished a 3-year residency of which the purpose was to meet and play with as many new musicians as possible. The album therefore featured 20 guests and was as much about them and our musical relationships as it was about me.

This album is more about my music. I have spent a lot of time writing in the last 12 months, including trying my hand at matching lyrics to the music for the first time. The album does still feature 7 guests. I love collaborating – it suits me, and I really enjoyed working with each and every one of them in putting this together. I hope you enjoy it.
