Ginger Berglund and Scott Whitfield wrote "Come Out Swingin'!" for The Modernaires to celebrate becoming members of the iconic vocal group, joining leader Julie Dickinson, Joe Croyle, and Jimmy Stephens in the newest edition of an American singing group that has been in existence since before World War II. The group's recording with the Glenn Miller Orchestra of "Chattanooga Choo Choo" was ~the first ever~ gold record in existence.
