jared and marcus fernandez began writing songs together in 1999 and officially formed emporium in 2001. although they grew up in the houston-galveston area(DICKINSON), emporium is a san antonio-based band. multiple line-up changes have crippled their consistency, but the steadfast creative core has never wavered. emporium will release their first full-length cd in october 2006 and will follow with a heavy dose of live shows across the region.
