the crossing is a jazz/funk/rock band currently performing in the salt lake city area, this is basically the jeff lawrence group in a jazz fusion type setting,steve richter has since left the band who was the flutist /saxist and clarinetest and producer of this cd. The new band is the jeff lawrence crossing with jeff lawrence on guitar/eric blood on bass/josh francis on keys and trumpet and ewi/gary klein on drums/jeff and a new female singer on vocals.
this is a purely instrumental effort with phenomonal solos as well as three completely improved tunes and allsolos are improved, it is a great great improv/jazz/rock/funk/fusion record.
