Richard James is an innovative and talented artist who has far-ranging interests. This becomes evident upon even a cursory examination of bluemountain.com, for which he was the lead music contributor from 1996 through 2001. Richard has a background in classical piano and string bass, and for a number of years played in many of the local orchestras in San Diego, as well as performing in many Broadway shows. He has performed extensively in nightclubs and worked countless private engagements, and concert situations. As a result of his experience, Richard has developed a broad variety of approaches to the tasks of composition and arrangement.
