Star Royster: was born in Chicago Heights Illinois, but relocated to Houston, Texas at the age of eight.

Star was introduced to Jesus Christ at the age of three. She began singing in the church choir after her grandmother Evangelist Clara Royster, began taking her to Sunday morning worship service at God's House of Love, Prayer & Deliverance Church in Robins, Illinois. She later joined the Hastings High School Jr. Varsity Choir in Houston, Texas.

Skyy Royster: was also born in Chicago Heights Illinois, but over a period of time Skyy became inspired by her older sister Star's singing ability. So she decided to join the Thornton Middle School Choir in Katy, Texas where she currently attends school.

Star and Skyy teamed-up and began writing and singing together. Both young ladies acknowledge the importance of singing for the Lord by saying, "with Him all things are possible and without Him, nothing is possible". The thought of that statement inspired them to choose "Divine" as their group name.
