Prodigal consists of six middle aged guys that love the Lord and love writing and performing rock music. The band was created on the concept of bridging the gap between old rock and new metal. In short, we wanted to write and record the type of music that we grew up with. The music is a mixture of sounds influenced by 70’s and 80’s rock bands, from Led Zeppelin to Van Halen, but with a modern Christian contemporary edge. The debut CD “STAND”, takes you on an emotional rollercoaster ride. From the song “Hear my Prayer”, dedicated to a small girl who lost her life in a swimming accident, to the controversial message conveyed in “Patriot’s Call”.
