At first listen you'll find yourself transported to the place and time where it was recorded, live at the Viper Room in Hollywood just a few short weeks ago --- but also to a time when music really had the power to move people. Hot n' Sticky (like any truly great live album) showcases what a great band does best --- and so many bands have sadly forgotten how to do --- which is to make people happy, to dance, and to fall in love with the music and with each other.
"Carnaby Street" (Michael Des Barre's album release prior to this) was remarkably recorded in just seven days, a process which captured the immediacy and essence of Michael's mid-sixties musical roots.
