SHYNE are an electro acoustic band based in South Africa.

Songwriter and guitarist, Owl can be recognised from his success in the mid-nineties. He formed a band called Qkumba Zoo which took South Africa by storm and got signed to Arista Records in New York. Owl now returns to his roots, joining forces with Simone to create SHYNE.

With three years of voice training and a childhood influenced by musical parents, Simone's passion leaves no doubt in the listener. Her songwriting and voice have been described as dramatic and multi-layered. Together their vision is to awaken their audience to the subtle, yet magical power of music. They believe music is strong form of healing and when composed with the right intention, can move hearts.
