Bumpin’ T started out as a local DJ for functions at the age of 14 years old in 1984. He was self- taught how to mix and scratch and at the age of 15 began to write his own lyrics after being inspired by the artist Too Short. He eventually turned to producing, making original music at the age of 16 after purchasing his own keyboard and drum machine.
