After moving from Los Angeles to Nashville, TN in the spring of 2012 Julian Jones spent the summer writing and collaborating with local artists and writers. The result of the summer was a collection of songs with a more rootsy americana influenced feel. In the fall Julian Jones entered the studio in Nashville recruiting some of the towns most talented and sought after session players, with singer-songwriter Alyssa Bonagura at the helm producing. Rock Air Fire And Wood brings together classic American idiosyncrasies with the psychedelic ethos of 60's British rock and modern alternative, combining the songwriting and sounds of artists such as Neil Young, Ryan Adams, Nick Drake and Coldplay. It sounds completely new and original yet feels comfortably familiar.
