Arlen began in a second floor living room in Lowell, Massachusetts back in 2014. Since their start they have gained recognition in the Lowell and Greater Boston areas, as well as a handful of radio stations and online outlets through the east coast. In January of 2015 they released their debut EP 'Animal' which got great reviews and helped them stretch their name outside their comfort zone. After two years since 'Animal' they are ready to release the next chapter - 'Negatives'. With each album will come a change in heart, mind, and tone - and this is just the beginning of Arlen's push. With inspiration drawing from Joy Division, Placebo, Fugazi, and The National - Arlen has become an eclectic rock sensation in Lowell with no plan of staying put.
