Kokomo released its eighth album, a live CD, "Kokomo à Gogo", in September 2006. A full-length concert DVD under the same name was be released inl 2007. Recorded at Baycourt Theatre in Tauranga, NZ, Kokomo à Gogo is a superb representation of the band's live shows, something that fans have been asking for for years. On stage is the full six-piece touring band, the regular four-piece augmented by Ian "Beano" Gilpin on drums and Mike Kirk on electric guitar. Songs range from a selection from the recent "Songs of Love and Not" album to radical rearrangements of older Kokomo tunes and a definitive take of live favourite "Freight Train"
