SICK, The name sums up exactly what this Minnesota artist is...
Sick wit the rhymes & the grind! Born in Kansas but raised in Minnesota, SICK has grown into
an undisputable star, and needless to say “The Talk Of The Town.” Taking over the Twin Cities
hip-hop scene by surprise in 2008 with SICK’S self executive produced album/ Demo,
REAL BY NATURE . He is responsible for producing, recording, engineering, and designing
the graphics for this whole album independently. SICK is no stranger to the mic or stage
either, performing songs like “I’m Da Sh*t Boy!" will get any festivity cracking quick,
proving his style is indeed SICK. His versatile street music catches the attention of
all on-lookers, causing diverse heads in the crowd to bounce off one another by every
song’s mantra until he exits the stage sweating (shirtless). Growing up in the most
underestimated streets of North-side Minneapolis, SICK has always lived a life well
ahead of his age full of rises and falls which most landed him in prison. In time, he
self educated himself the lessons of life and created his independent label
STILL REAL RECORDS LLC. The motto of the Record label is "learning from your mistakes
and turning the negative into something positive." Vowing to keep every word he
writes "Real" to the exact life he has been living, which is not hard because he’s
witnessed the worse and been through the worsest.
As CEO of the Still Real Records family, SICK has been Responsible for several other local
artist projects, including his ownartist Roulette and Young Ree. In 2009 SICK started
the ”Still Real Tour” performing in cities such as: New York, Florida, Texas, Kansas, Ohio,
Indiana, Iowa, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Virginia and more. Over the past few years
SICK has set the bar in the city directing & editing his own music videos, including
his #1 Single “I’m Da Sh*t Boy!", "Dat Paper", and"Crim Del La Crim" which created a
huge buzz on the local scene and internationally (Bayern, Germany & Amsterdam).
In addition to Music Videos SICK also developed his own full length album DVD,
and Still Real TV Episodes on Youtube documenting hisjourney to success. With his
