Our trio has been together for over 15 years, playing in the Philadelphia area, and beyond. We were, until recently, the house rhythm section at Ortlieb's Jazzhaus, a club which has been in existence since 1987. We have backed upwards of a thousand musicians over that time, form novices to world- class musicians.

Sid, on piano, has worked with the likes of Grover Washington, Jr., Philly Joe Jones, Charles McPherson, John Blake, Jr., Jimmy Cobb, and others. Byron, on drums, has been with organist Joey DeFranscesco for over 20 years he has also woked with Betty Carter, Russell Malone, Orrin Evans, Tim Warfield, Jr. , and others. Mike, on bass, has toured with entertainer Ben Vereen, Buddy Rich, Orrin Evans, and others. Collectively, this trio appears on two CDs by trumpeter John Swana, on the Crisscross Jazz label.
