Lapcat, an intercontinental trio from Zürich, Switzerland, and Boulder, Colorado, epitomizes the claim, and the fact they’ve gone unnoticed until now despite having released music together since 2012 is beyond our comprehension. With tracks like “Anyways” and “Other Men”, two incredible highlights from their most recent album, Blitzpop, especially, the three have the kind of irresistible sound that could easily draw comparisons to The xx without any eyes being rolled.
