Raised in Belhaven, North Carolina, W.I.L.L. began playing drums in church as a youth. As a teenager W.I.L.L. began writing lyrics and freestyling, his lyrical skills allowed him to successfully battle rap other emcees from around North Carolina. At 16 years of age he signed his first record deal with Big Face Entertainment out of Greenville, North Carolina. Growing up on the streets taught W.I.L.L. how to survive and it is deeply rooted in his music. Eventually the street lifestyle caught up to him and he was incarcerated for some time. While locked up he wrote furiously and honed his lyrical skills. Upon relocating to Oklahoma W.I.L.L. signed with MuGen Music & Management Inc. in October 2015. Focused and ready to make a splash in the hip hop world with his first full album release, “Rebellious”, set for April 2016. His current mixtape “Numero Uno” is available on coast to coast and datpiff.com. In heavy local show rotation in 2015 and 216, he has shared the stage with legends such as Scarface and DJ Yella of NWA.
