Andrew Smith's live show combines his award winning talent as a singer/songwriter and instrumentalist. Andrew has been playing folk clubs, festivals and house concerts in Canada, the USA and Europe to enthusiastic audiences.
Smith is also one third of the popular folk trio Smith Funk and Strauss and has recently shared the stage with Bruce Cockburn, Ruthie Foster, Gordie Sampson, Martyn Joseph and Terry Tufts.
Andrew's cd 'escape velocity' won him the '2005 OKANAGAN INSTRUMENTALIST OF THE YEAR' award.
Andrew also works as a producer and works out of his own studio (Solar Nest Arts in Kelowna BC). He was recently awarded PRODUCER OF THE YEAR in the Okanagan region, and recorded award-winning folk artist Jane Eamon's 'a different place' and latest cd 'deep water' .
