A graduate of Birmingham Conservatoire, Rik Roberts studied with internationally renowned guitarists Craig Ogden and Simon Dinnegan and has taken part in masterclasses with many famous names in the classical Guitar world, including John Mills, Carlos Bonell, David Russel and Leo Brouwer.

Whilst a student, he was already making a name for himself as a performer not afraid to combine his classical technique with folk, pop and roots music.

A former 'Young Musician of the Year' contestant, Rik has since performed in Japan, Malaysia, Morocco, Germany, Poland and throughout the UK, and he is one of the few British Musicians to have been invited to perform in Belarus.

Whilst active as both a performer and teacher of guitar, Rik also works as a composer for media and TV projects. One of his compositions has recently been used by Western Union for a national radio campaign throughout the US, and he has licensed his music for a number of media projects internationally.
