Todd Smith is a rock and blues acoustic songwriter who was born in the small town of Picayune, MS. He began writing his own music one evening in the Winter of 2006. Todd needed a therapy for all the emotions he felt that could only come from putting his feelings out in the form of songs. He began to write songs that could show his pain or his happiness. For those who feel the same emotions, Todd's writing has always been a place to relate to and not feel alone.
Todd began drawing influences early from artists like John Mayer, Chris Carrabba of Dashboard Confessional, and Buddy Guy. He also was a roadie for the Foulon Brothers Band as he began booking small venues all around the South, performing his originals and covers. In 2007 Todd came out with his first Album, Short Drives and Long Goodbyes, under the Todd Smith Band. Best known for “Kings and Queens” and “Maybe”.
