Friends since kindergarten who grew up together in Darlington, Pennsylvania, songwriting partners Andy Brundage and Bennett Sykes have been involved in bands playing original music (Fontaine Cooley, Blue Yonder, Original Suburban Cowboys) throughout their careers, as well as pursuing their love of and interest in roots rock (Bennett – blues, with bands including the John Cadillac Band, Rocket 88, Big Jack Johnson, and Roger Girk & the Funky Twisters; Andy – hardcore country and rockabilly, with bands including Duke Snow, The One-400s, the Double Clutchin’ Weasels, and The Twangabillies). The 15 original songs on Time of Temptation (and the title song written by high school inspiration Richard Ayers) explore love and life from different angles utilizing the vocal and instrumental talents of two dozen talented musician friends.
